ANNOUNCES 2007 LINE OFFICERS AND REGIONAL DIRECTORS
(ATLANTA) – Bob Hamilton, RCE, Chief Executive Officer of the Georgia Association of REALTORS® (GAR), has announced the organization’s 2007 leadership team. Officers were sworn in on Friday, February 9, at the President’s Inaugural Gala during GAR’s Inaugural Meeting in Point Clear, Alabama.
Arlene Davis of Vidalia has been sworn in as President. Davis is a member of the Altamaha Basin Board of REALTORS® and is Broker/Co-Owner of RE/MAX Vidalia. Her past accomplishments include President of the Altamaha Basin Board of REALTORS® in 1996 and 1997, and she was lauded with the Board’s prestigious REALTOR® of the Year award in 1997. Davis has earned her Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designations and is currently working toward her Accredited Seller Representative (ASR) and Certified Residential Broker (CRB) designations. She has served on numerous committees for GAR and is currently on the Communications Committee for the National Association of REALTORS®.
Van Johnson of Tucker has been sworn in as President-Elect. Johnson is a member of the DeKalb Association of REALTORS® and is Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Executives in Atlanta.
Judy Presley of Gainesville has been sworn in as Immediate Past President; Dana Bauguss of Lilburn has been sworn in as Vice President of Affairs; Bill Boatman of Augusta has been sworn in as Vice President of Communications & Public Relations; Steven Fischer of Savannah has been sworn in as Vice President of Administration of Finance; and Anne Gault of Atlanta has been sworn in Vice President of Professional Development.
Regional directors for the association are as follows: Region 1, Ceci Osburn of Marietta; Region 2, Krista Holloway of Gainesville; Region 3, Tom Wise of Rome; Region 4, Kristy Pennington of Lithonia; Region 5, Linda Carol Porterfield of Athens; Region 6, Jim Smith of Macon; Region 7, Barbara Watson of Leesburg; Region 8, Missy Lane of Brunswick; and Region 9, Robin Lance of Richmond Hill.
