How to Change Your Address

Thank you for your interest in keeping your personal information correct. In order to do so we have provided you with links to the National Association of REALTORS® website (NRDS) at www.realtor.org, as well as a listing of contact information for your local board.

To make these changes you can:

  • Contact your local board and request that your changes be made.  The local board will be responsible for notifying the State and National Associations of that change.
- OR -
  • You can change your own personal contact information at the National Association of REALTORS® website. NAR will notify the state and local boards of those changes. Follow the directions below for updating your information with NAR:
    Visit Realtor.org (www.realtor.org)
    1. First time users: Click on the “Register” link located toward the top right corner of the homepage in the light blue menu bar. Follow prompts.
      Repeat users: Click on the "My Account" link located toward the top right corner of the homepage in the light blue menu bar. Login using your NAR username and password. (If you don't remember your username and/or password, follow the prompts to help you obtain it; or, call NAR Information Central at 800/874-6500).
    2. Once logged in: Scroll down the page to the heading "Update Other NAR Accounts" Click on “Change your information in the National REALTOR Database System (NRDS).”
    3. Review your information. Pay special attention to your home address and the “Preferred Mail,” "Direct Marketing Mail," and the "Preferred Publication" areas. These are where you indicate to NAR and GAR where to mail information, magazines, and marketing materials.
    4. Save changes, and you are set!
