Graduate, REALTOR® Institute
The Graduate, REALTOR® Institute is the most prestigious designation a REALTOR® can earn through GAR. The National Association of REALTOR® confers upon the state association the right to deliver this 90-hour designation course. GRI is one of the most widely recognized designations available to real estate professionals nationwide. Earning the GRI designation lets clients and customers know that you have the “professional edge”, that you believe in furthering your education and that you are a leader in the industry.
GRI is offered in week-long schools and online. Continuing education, sales postlicense, and broker prelicense credit are given for all GRI courses. For more GRI information please visit www.georgiagri.com.
Partners in Education and Designations

The GAR Professional Development Committee reviews the program annually to assure that the topics are timely and current to the real estate industry.

Convention Education
You will not want to miss out on the exciting education offerings at the GAR Inaugural Meeting and Annual Convention and Trade Expo! You will find more than 15 education sessions at each meeting and convention to assist you in further developing your professionalism in the industry.
Professional Standards Training
GAR provides an annual training program on professional standards procedures for association executives and staff specialists and for members who serve on grievance committees, professional standards committees and boards of directors. The training is provided by a cadre of qualified instructors and offered in numerous convenient locations throughout the state during the month of March. The program is not intended to take the place of the mandatory Code of Ethics training provided by local boards and associations but does qualify for continuing education credit.
