Call Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts at 407.934.3372 to make your resort accommodations. Room rates start at $190.00, plus applicable taxes. Please inform the resort you are with GAR to reserve at the group rate. Deadline for booking your room is Aug. 1.
SPECIAL FEATURES: Health club; Three-acre heated sandy-bottom swimming lagoon; Jacuzzis®, two heated quiet pools; white-sand beach; marina with watercraft rental; Two lighted tennis courts; Sand volleyball court; Grass croquet court; Beauty and barber shop; business center; Wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) access throughout convention center and lobby common areas, in-room high speed Internet access; Access to four championship golf courses.
ROOM FEATURES: All rooms have two queen-size or one king-size bed, table and chairs, ceiling fan, minibar, private balcony, and vanity area with two sinks. Guest room amenities include in-room wall safe, voice mail, high speed Internet access, data port on phone, television speaker in bath area, coffee and coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and ironing board.

DEADLINES:
Payment must be post-marked by the following dates in order to take advantage of the special registration fees:
Early Bird Registration Fee $179.00 - by July 1, 2009
Regular Registration Fee $219.00 - by August 14, 2009
On-Site Registration Fee $259.00 - after August 14, 2009
What does a registration fee include?
A full registration includes all education sessions (excluding the Designation Courses), committee meetings, the Grand Opening Cocktail Party, Thursday Lunch on the Go, Thursday Evening Party and Late Night Breakfast, Friday Continental Breakfast, Friday Deli Lunch, BINGO and the Continental Breakfast on Saturday.
What does a registration fee NOT include?
A registration fee does not include the President's Banquet ticket, golf tournament fees or designation course.
NON-INDUSTRY GUEST REGISTRATIONS:
A REALTOR® member may register his or her spouse or special guest if the spouse/guest is not affiliated with any aspect of the real estate industry. If the spouse/guest is affiliated with the real estate industry in any way (i.e. a real estate agent, provides any type of service to GAR members, member of a local board, etc.), he or she must register separately either as a member or as a non-member.
CANCELLATION POLICIES
Written cancellations prior to August 14, 2009, will reflect a $40.00 service charge. Due to contract obligations, no refunds will be given after August 14, 2009. There are no refunds for the designation course. All meeting cancellations and requests for refunds must be made in writing and mailed or faxed to the GAR office. Cancellations will not be taken over the phone.
TRANSFER POLICY
GAR does have a transfer/assignment policy that allows a member who needs to cancel the opportunity to transfer his or her registration to another person. A form can be obtained at www.garealtor.com under the Meetings and Conventions section. A transfer cannot be completed without this form and a non-refundable service charge of $25.00. Only the individual transferee is authorized to pick up the registration packet.
TICKET SALES
Tickets for Special Events are sold on a first-come, first served basis. ALL SALES FINAL AFTER AUGUST 14, 2009 on Special Event Tickets.
SPECIAL HOTEL INFORMATION
To make your hotel accommodations, call 407.939.2010. Room rates start at $190.00, plus applicable taxes and are good from August 31 - September 6, 2009. Please inform the hotel that you are with the Georgia Association of REALTORS® group. Deadline for booking your hotel room is August 1, 2009. Rooms are not guaranteed to be available at the GAR group rate after August 1st and rooms are based on a first come - first served basis. We strongly suggest attendees book their hotel room as soon as possible to guarantee lodging at the headquarters hotel. At the present time, no overflow hotel has been established.
ATTIRE
Attire for the Convention will be business casual for all meetings.
