A&E Makeover Show Looking for Participants

A&E's show, "Sell This House: Extreme” is looking for potential houses in the Atlanta area to feature on its upcoming season of the show!
The focus of the program is to update and renovate homes that are on the market/getting ready to be put on the market so that they have the potential of selling more quickly and at a higher cost. Examples of things they've done on past homes include tearing down walls to open up spaces/create a better floorplan, installing new cabinets, flooring and appliances in kitchens/baths, painting walls and staging the home with furniture, etc.
Producers are searching for homes that match the following criteria:
-House currently on the market for sale OR will be on the market by Spring 2013 (cannot be a short sale or foreclosure)
-Median price range for the area
-Couple or family of any makeup - siblings, parents with kids, gay, straight, etc. A family with great energy and personality!
-Home MUST be furnished and the owners must be living in it! (no rentals or vacant homes, please)
-Home MUST be challenged in a cosmetic way and in desperate need of updating - paint, fixtures, bathroom, kitchen, lighting, decor - the show will tackle 3 or 4 rooms in the house
-Home should be no larger than 3,500 sq. ft
-Homeowners should be between the ages of 25-65 years old

There is NO COST involved to either the REALTOR® or the homeowner. The show's only objective is to produce an entertaining TV show that will help you “Sell This House”. Producers bring all needed materials and the homeowners get to keep 99% of the items used in the staging process (curtains, linens, etc.).
Homes featured on the show get about $20-30,000 worth of work put into them. Last year, approximately 85% of the houses that appeared on “Sell This House” sold after being staged & renovated; several after only a few weeks!’
Please keep in mind the homeowners are an integral part of the transformation, so the producers prefer homeowners who are in good physical health and are able to help our crew with the painting and re-decorating work. They also interact with our host so it is essential they are fluent in English. Producers are seeking homeowners that are FUN and VIVACIOUS!
Requirements for consideration include digital pictures of the INTERIOR of the home – bedrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, family room, etc. Or simply send us the listing that includes the photos. Also the network requires a current photo of the sellers.
