NOTICE TO STUDENTS

School Information
Georgia Association of REALTORS® is approved by the Georgia Real Estate Commission to offer education programs. It is our goal to provide high quality distant continuing education courses in support of state mandated education programs for ongoing professional competency.  The GREC School number is 271. The school's renewal date is December 31, 2011.

  2. You must return the Certification Statement and the Course Evaluation to the Georgia Association of REALTORS® fax 770-458-6992 in order to receive your Georgia continuing education credit with the Georgia Real Estate Commission.

Grading
You must complete the entire course.  Most courses do not require an examination.

Getting Credit for the Course
When you have successfully completed a course, you will need to fax the
Certification Statement and the Course Evaluation to the Georgia Association of REALTORS® at 770-458-6992 or mail them to 3200 Presidential Drive, Atlanta, GA 30340 Attn: Continuing Education Department.

Attendance and Time Limits
Since this program is an independent study program, no classroom attendance is required. School policy requires that students complete all course work within six months from the enrollment date.

School Records
Georgia Association of REALTORS® will maintain records for a five-year period. The following information will be maintained: Course taken, student name, license number, date enrolled in course and date completed the course.

Prohibition of Recruiting
No recruiting for employment opportunities is allowed through the Georgia Association of REALTORS® school. Any efforts of recruiting should be reported immediately to the Georgia Association of REALTORS® 3200 Presidential Drive, Atlanta, GA 30340 or directly to the Georgia Real Estate Commission, International Tower-Suite 1000, 229 Peachtree Street, Atlanta, GA 30303.

State Approval
Each course meets state requirements for Georgia continuing education credit. The exact number of hours of credit depends on the course.

Time Limit and Schedule
There is a six-month time limit for receiving technical support. We allow no more than six months to complete a course. Once a student begins a course, he/she can work on the course at any time.  There is a bookmark feature so that when a student exits a lesson in progress, the computer will return the student to the point of exit so that work already completed will not be repeated.
